10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thanks to everyone who came out for FCCS and Mayor Andrew J. Ginther’s FamJam. It was a fun day of food, entertainment and community resources. FCCS and the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods jointly presented this kid-friendly event for the 9th consecutive year. Entertainment was provided by local youth acts on the pavilion stage including: Lungu Vybes, Tyshawn Colquitt, Xclaim Dance, Modeling with a Message, Spirit of Wedgewood and Franklinton Prep Steel Drum Band. A host of mascots including FCCS's own Ted D. Bear, OSU's Brutus Buckeye, United Healthcare's Dr. Healthy Hound, Lifeline of Ohio's Honey Bee, Buckeye Health Plan's Buckley, Kroger's Bagster, and CME Federal Credit Union's Dollar Dog danced with the kids and delighted the crowd. DJ Dommy Huge Deal Styles, DJ Justin Luuv and DJ Trub served as emcees. More than 70 organizations offered resources, giveaways and health screenings to the community at their booths. Safety forces from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus divisions of police and fire also attended.
