August 5, 2017
Columbus Commons (160 S. High Street)
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FCCS and Mayor Andrew J. Ginther’s FamJam is a free family enrichment festival held each summer for families in Franklin County. Join us on Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Columbus Commons for a fun, day of food, entertainment and community resource booths.

FCCS and the City of Columbus will jointly present this kid-friendly event for the 7th consecutive year, which includes fun and informative activities for the whole family. The event is free, rain or shine, but parking is $5 at COSI.

Entertainment will be provided by local acts on the pavilion stage. More than 80 organizations will offer resources, giveaways and health screenings to the community at their booths. Families with children can enjoy bounce houses, face-painting, the Recreation and Parks climbing wall, interactive games and activities, as well as free food and Whit’s Frozen Custard while supplies last. They can also explore vehicles provided by local safety forces including the Columbus Division of Police, Columbus Division of Fire and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Other vendors will include a walk thru of a COTA bus, a Columbus Metropolitan Library bookmobile, CME Federal Credit Union, Molina Healthcare, Mt. Carmel Hospital’s College of Nursing, several Franklin County agencies and local charter schools, social service agencies and community service groups. Everyone is welcome!
